Queens of the Stone Age
Queens of the Stone Age currently has 5 members. Most of them are from the LA/Palm Desert area except for the guitarist from Detroit and drummer from Baltimore.
Troy Van Leeuwan is the lead guitarist. He is mostly known for being the guitarist of A Perfect Circle until he departed to focus on touring with QOTSA. He joined in 2002 to replace the previous guitarist and to play guitar on their Songs For The Deaf promotional tour and has since become a staple member.
Dean Fertita mainly plays the keyboard for the band but occasionally fills in on guitar. He joined in 2007 to replace the previous member, Natasha Schneider, after her death from lung cancer. Fertita is also in a band with Jack White (and 2 others) named The Dead Weather. He also has one solo album from 2009.
Jon Theodore is the bands drummer. He is also known for being the drummer of the band The Mars Volta until their breakup in 2012. He joined in 2013 after the previous drummer quit due to (and I quote) "burning out". Though he did not records the drums on the new album (Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighter and Nirvana did) he did join them for every concert on the ...Like Clockwork tour and has been announced as an official member.
